Zarautz Beach is more than 2 ½ km long, and is considered the queen of the Basque Country's beaches. There is space marked off in several areas for surfing in the summer season and, depending on the tides and currents, there are waves that break on the beach both to the left and to the right. It is suitable for both beginners in this sport and for seasoned surfers for whom it is a lifestyle.
